What to Expect?

An initial assessment of 1 hour

A comprehensive initial assessment is key to understanding the underlying causes of your complaint. A full medical history, work environment, training history and goals are established. Then a thorough physical assessment is done to assess acute injuries and the structures involved, determine movement restrictions, muscle weakness and joint stiffness. Please make sure you wear appropriate clothing for this assessment (loose shorts and a vest are perfect).
Treatment can include soft tissue release, fascial release, joint mobilisation, dry needling and strength/mobility exercises. Advice will be given to help you manage your condition at home.

Follow-up appointments are 45-60 minutes

A physical assessment is done to reassess the affected areas. Treatment can include soft tissue release, fascial release, joint mobilisation, dry needling and strength/mobility exercises.
